A 14-year-old boy has died after falling from a thrill ride in Orlando Florida, according to authorities. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving 911 calls Thursday evening regarding an incident at the Orlando Free Fall ICON Park shortly after midnight where witnesses reported seeing a person fall from the ride to the ground. The teenager was taken to the hospital where he unfortunately died from his injuries. Video of the fatal incident, which was captured by witnesses, began circulating on social media platforms early Friday morning. The Orlando Free Fall at ICON Park opened last year and sends participants 400 feet in the air before plummeting at 70 miles per hour into the ground, according to a press release last year.
