‘Black Panther’ Star Chadwick Boseman Dies of Cancer at 43

A Black King Gone Too Soon!

Chadwick Boseman, a phenomenal actor who made a global impact bringing “Black Panther” to life, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with playing Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown on the silver screen, has died Friday of cancer. He was only 43 years old. According to reports, Boseman passed away at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side. His family released a statement, saying “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.” They continue that “it was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”
