Beloved Hip Hop rapper Young Dolph was killed Nov 17, 2021 while visiting a local bakery in his hometown of Memphis called Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. Earlier today, autopsy revealed he was shot total of 22 times during the ambush with wounds in areas of the head, neck, torso, back, and arms. His death has been ruled a homicide. Arrests have been made in connection with Dolph’s murder; 23-year-old Justin Johnson and 32-year-old Cornelius Smith, have each been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm, and theft of property over $10,000. After being open in South Memphis for over 20 years, the cookie shop where the murder occurred, Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies, has officially closed down.The shop has been a memorial for Dolph since the shooting incident happened. The next hearing for the Johnson and Smith is reportedly set for March 24.
