A young lady has been arrested and charged with third-degree murder in connection with a crash on Interstate 95 in South Philadelphia early Monday morning, killing two Pennsylvania state police officers, and a man they were attempting to help. Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, of Eagleville, has been charged with three counts of third-degree murder, homicide by vehicle, and a battery of DUI-related crimes for her participation in the three fatalities, according to state police. The tragic incident happened as troopers were responding to a call of a person walking in the southbound lanes of the busy interstate near the Broad Street exit, according to the station. Webb reportedly admitted to driving while intoxicated and began sobbing during her arraignment on 18 criminal charges, including two counts of murder by police enforcement officer killing.
The suspect allegedly boasted about her suspected criminal behavior on Twitter earlier this year.
“If you ask me, I’m the best drunk driver ever,” she tweeted on Jan. 15.
